My Review about it!

I bought this one as a peace offering disguised as a surprise — my mother had been hinting for a week that ‘something pink’ would be nice for her birthday, and then this heart showed up on the menu like it had read her messages.

It is $5.98 with the cake upcharge, and it is served chilled, straight from the box onto a real plate. At 470 calories it is the lightest full-size item on this week’s menu, which my mother announced to the table like it was her own achievement.

The first forkful is soft strawberry cake — properly fluffy, not dense — with a swirl of strawberry cream cheese frosting that has the right tang to it. The house-made jam is the difference: you get real strawberry, not candy strawberry, and the heart shape survives being cut, which matters more than it should.

It was gone before the candle conversation even started. It is the prettiest thing Crumbl has put out in months and the rare one that tastes as good as it photographs. For birthdays, apologies, and strong hints — this is the week’s answer.

Compared with the Confetti Cake Batter Cheesecake: both are chilled, party-ready slices, but the cheesecake is dense and sprinkle-loaded while the heart cake is fluffy, jammy and fruit-first. Confetti is the birthday table; the heart cake is the one that gets photographed before it gets cut.
