My Review about it!

Peanut butter cup blondie cookie on a plate with a glass of milk next to an open pink Crumbl box

The blondie lasted about four minutes after the school bags hit the floor. I had cut it into quarters on the kitchen island — one for each of us and one ‘for later’ that nobody believed in — and the first quarter disappeared before the milk was even poured. Warm from the box, it smelled like a peanut butter jar opened inside a bakery.

I picked it up on the school-run route and paid $4.49 for the single, which for a cookie this dense feels fair. It is the kind of thing you buy one of and share, not one per person — at 600 calories for the whole blondie, a quarter lands near 150 and still tastes like a full dessert.

The first bite is chopped peanut butter cup in every direction — not a swirl on top, actual pieces folded through a soft peanut butter base, with the milk chocolate drizzle going melty from the warmth. The edges have that blondie chew, the middle stays soft, and the peanut butter flavor is loud without turning salty.

We finished the whole thing standing up in the kitchen, which tells you most of it. The ‘for later’ quarter went last and slowest. It is rich in the way peanut butter desserts are rich — one more bite always sounds good and then suddenly you are done. A cold glass of milk is not optional with this one; it is part of the recipe.

What I liked

  • Peanut butter cups in every bite, not just on top
  • Soft middle with chewy blondie edges
  • Made for sharing — quarters perfectly

What I didn’t

  • 600 calories — a quarter is the sensible serving
  • Very rich; milk is basically required
  • Peanut is the whole show — no subtlety

Compared with the Dirt Cake Cookie: that one is a dark-chocolate maximalist — fudge frosting, cookie crumbs, a gummy worm on top — while the blondie runs on peanut butter warmth. Dirt Cake is louder; the blondie is richer. Chocolate people go Dirt Cake, peanut butter people do not even hesitate.
