My Review about it!
It was a slow Saturday when I finally gave in and ordered the Caramel Shortbread Cookie ft. TWIX from Crumbl. It had been sitting on this week’s menu teasing me for days, and I kept telling myself I’d get something else instead. Twix won.
I got it through the store and paid $4.49. By the time I sat down and opened the box, the buttery caramel aroma hit me first. The cookie is a looker — golden shortbread base, glossy caramel layer, smooth milk chocolate cap studded with crunchy chopped Twix bars.
The first bite is where it won me over. The shortbread is buttery and crumbly, the caramel layer is properly gooey, and the milk chocolate cap snaps before giving way. The chopped Twix on top — with their own little caramel-and-cookie crunch — echo what’s inside. Served chilled, the caramel stays chewy instead of runny and every layer holds its line.
About halfway through, I hit the wall. Caramel plus chocolate plus candy bar is a sugar triple-threat. I finished it and needed milk — I’d suggest you do the same. Best eaten chilled; warm it up and the caramel goes everywhere.
