My Review about it!

Crumbl Banana Bread Cookie on a plate next to a homemade banana bread loaf during a family tea

Monday evening I took a 4-pack of these to my parents’ house for chai — an away game, because my mother bakes the banana bread every other cookie gets judged against. Four cookies: one each, plus a spare that was never going to survive the evening.

It is $4.49, served warm. The cookie is soft and fluffy with brown sugar, cinnamon and vanilla in the base, a smooth cream cheese glaze over the top, and brown sugar streusel crumbled over that; it looks like breakfast and dessert sharing one plate.

Warmed up, the banana flavor reads true; ripe banana, not candy banana and the cinnamon stays in the background where it belongs. The streusel gives the top a gentle crunch, and the glaze adds the tang a plain slice of banana bread always wants. My mother asked what was in the glaze. From her, that is a five-star review. My father took the spare.

At 660 calories it is mid-pack for the week, and next to hot chai it made a genuinely good case for itself. The homemade loaf still holds the family title — but the box came home empty. Verdict: the parents-approved comfort pick — bring the 4-pack, expect no leftovers.

What I liked

  • True ripe-banana flavor, no candy artificiality
  • Streusel crunch over a soft, fluffy base
  • Cream cheese glaze adds just enough tang

What I didn’t

  • Homemade banana bread still edges it out
  • Best warm — the glaze firms up as it cools
  • Rotating flavor, gone after October 25

Compared with the Original M&M’S Cookie: nearly identical stats — $4.49, warm, 660 vs 650 calories — but opposite moods. Banana Bread is the quiet morning cookie; M&M’S is the loud candy one. Coffee decides it: with coffee, banana; without, the candy.
